Charles Leclerc

Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc (born 16 October 1997) is a Monégasque racing driver competing in Formula One for Scuderia Ferrari. Known for his smooth driving style and precision, he is widely regarded as one of the most talented drivers of his generation.

Early Career

Born in Monte Carlo, Monaco, Leclerc grew up idolizing Formula One legend Ayrton Senna. He began karting at age 8 and progressed through the junior formulas.

Won the Northern European Cup championship.

GP3 Series (2016)

Finished 2nd in the championship with 3 wins.

FIA Formula 2 (2017)

Won the championship with 5 wins, becoming the first rookie to do so.

Ferrari Journey

Sauber/Ferrari (2018-present)

Leclerc joined Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team in 2018, becoming Ferrari’s official test driver. In 2019, he moved to the main Ferrari team as Kimi RĂ€ikkönen’s replacement.
